Our room felt incredibly cramped, with beds nearly side by side and barely enough space to store two suitcases. The bathroom lacked storage options for toiletries, forcing us to keep items in the bath, and the shower felt tiny with a leaky door that soaked the floor. The decor appeared tired despite claims of recent upgrades, and the bed linen felt cheap and scratchy. noise from the room above made it difficult to sleep. while the location is decent, the lack of comfort and value leaves much to be desired.

The Tophams offered a pleasant stay with a prime location just five minutes from Victoria Station. The recently renovated room was well-designed, featuring effective amenities and an impressive bathroom with both a bathtub and rainshower.
Some noise from adjacent rooms could be disturbing.

The location was fantastic for our visit to see a show at the theatre, and we loved the charming decor throughout the place. The room was cozy and well-appointed, making it a comfortable backdrop for our London adventures. I appreciated how the breakfast staff remembered my preference for decaf lattes every morning, adding a personal touch to our stay.

Ideal for families looking for comfort
The beds were hard as a rock but still a little cozy, like I said before, if you like that. And the location is great, providing easy access to all the tourist attractions and nice dining. The staff memories decaf lattes for breakfast as well. Makes the difference you know?
Not exactly a bargain but for what I needed it was fine.

Great location and comfy stay
This place was a total gem! Super clean and quiet, and the bed was really comfy. The neighborhood felt really safe, and having two pubs nearby was a nice touch. The room was a bit small, though.

Just a perfect match for a lightning stop in London with excellent value for money. My room had a TV that sometimes worked, which was a small comfort. If you want a decent place to crash, this fits the bill, but don’t expect too much.

great stay with minor room adjustments needed
The modern yet charming decor created a warm ambiance. I appreciated the comfortable pillows and the excellent rainshower head, which made for a refreshing experience.
The room layout could use a bit of rethinking.

I loved the comfort of the bed. It was really cozy and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The location near Victoria Station made it super easy to get around London. I enjoyed the surrounding neighborhood, very lively yet quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The staff greeted me warmly and helped with my requests. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a letdown. I expected more variety but only found two tiny pastries and a single drink. It didn’t feel sufficient for my mornings. while the heating worked at first, it became inconsistent, making the room a bit stuffy at times. I think the rooms could use better heating control because I noticed it wasn’t too comfortable during the evenings. the amenities were decent but could use some improvements, especially with breakfast quality and heating.
